The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) is dedicated to promoting the highest quality of dermatologic care through continuing medical education and research. As part of the steps they took to ensure that their objectives are met, the AAD has announced that through a generous contribution by the Elsevier Foundation and the Skin Disease Education Foundation (SDEF), the AAD created the continuing medical education grant applications to be awarded twice yearly.
